Merry Christmas!
December 18, 2024 UPDATE:
Another year, another Martini Party is nearly upong us!
No location is finalized, we’ll post an update a day or so before Christmas, as with current low tide conditions things may wind up being very flexible to ensure the best location we can. But, we do have great new 2024 shirts and stickers and we’re excited to share the great causes that we’re working to raise some donations for as well. More updates for 2024 coming very soon, stay tuned and merry!

Martini on! The bar is being prepped, the shirts are printed and while the snow gods haven’t yet delivered the way they did last season, the Martini Party is on. Know that we will not be at the traditional location due to the low tide snow conditions but we will be setup and celebrating the season where we were two years ago, we’ll post a bit more detail on that over the coming weekend. See you soon!

Happy New Year and thank you to all who attended or otherwise supported the 2022 Martini Party. We are very happy to report that we have donated over $10,000 (all proceeds) to The People’s Health Clinic here in Park City and they were excited to get the donation and will put it quickly to very good use. Have a wonderful 2023 and we look forward to the 2023 Martini Party at the end of this year!

Merry Christmas! See you on the slopes and at the “Traditional Location” for another Park City Martini Party to celebrate the start of an amazing season – Let it Snow!!!
November 2022
Are you kidding me, we’re updating that the party is on (as always), but in November, and Park City Mountain just announced that they’ll be opening two days early on November 16 – let it snow and we’ll see you all on Christmas!
December 2021
This was our message last year. It feels like a long time ago and yet not so long. Our hope this season is to remember that, “These are the Good Old Days”!
December, 2020
In all of my years attending, participating in and ultimately helping steer the Christmas Day Martini Party. Not in my wildest dreams would I believe we would be where we are! To think that we will not be standing side by side on the hill. Raising money, raising a glass, and remembering, not only those that laid the groundwork. But remembering all that we are grateful for. The virus has dealt blow after blow. Not just in respect to the social aspect of our lives. The blows to local businesses. The blows to each and every one of our lives, financially and emotionally.
But the virus will not win! It may make us take a quick knee, but rest assured, we will persevere! We will continue as a community, as a brethren, as a family, to endure all of the curve balls thrown. To not just survive, but to thrive!
What started as an orphan’s Christmas at Portuguese Gap, has blossomed into a party with a purpose. Over the years, we have donated close to $20k to kids of friends that passed, Primary Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House as well as The Peace House. To be just a handful of good hearted, knuckle-headed ski bums who raise that kind of money for the good of the community? That makes my heart smile wide!!! To know that the community i live in, the friends i surround myself with, look beyond themselves to support what we do, is flat out AMAZEBALLS!!!
This year is nothing like years past. There will be no party. There will not be hundreds of peeps to raise the glass together. There will be no snow bar masterpiece. Sad, but not lost. We will return! Fortunately, we still get to ski! So let’s all get out there and ski the shit out of it on Christmas Day! This year will be the mobile Martini Party! In which all of us can attend!!!
So now comes the request. Help us keep our momentum going. Help us help others! For 2020, our non-profit beneficiaries are Connect Summit County – a group that helps bring mental health awareness to the mainstream, as well as the Navajo Nation COVID-19 Relief Fund. Every penny we raise, goes to the non-profits.
We could not do this without the help from our amazing, sponsors:
PARK CITY POWDERCATS
DIVERSIFIED BARS AND RESTAURANTS – No Name Saloon, Annex Family Restaurant, Butcher’s Chop House, Boneyard Saloon & Kitchen, Wine Dive
MELVIN’S PUBLIC HOUSE
THE PIG PEN
PHILLIPS EDISON
A few more words from us to you.
This virus will not win. It will not stop us, our friends or our community from being who we are! And from all of us at
THE MARTINI PATROL –
THANK YOU AND MERRY CHRISTMAS!
